I told Søren Raffnsøe (sorrh@vejle.dk) about your event; he was super excited about it and it sounded like he knows a community of sound artists upcycling/mashing up old instruments - you should have a chat with him, if you haven't already, musical-kit-bashing might be a fun addition to the event :-)

Hi guys! I was thinking; when roaming around instagram there are quite a lot of kit bashers and upcycling/sci-fi-artists out there, who we won't be able to reach and include in this event - but could it be interesting to make a section dedicated to them anyway....in form of a big wall of square insta-photos showing exactly how big this actually is around the globe - and the variety of arts? I'm thinking I could search via relevant hashtags and write to people posting photos of kit bashing or sci-fi art if we can print their photos and of course write their name and origin on the photos to exhibit them during this event? I have already mentioned this to Eva, and promised her that I would put in the hours for free, if she could find just a bit of funding for getting everything printed (the architect in our building prints poster-quality large size prints, which would be perfect for this) - and that shouldn't be a problem :-). Of course you guys would have the final say so on what is included, but to save some time for you, I would be happy to offer doing approaching and the first hand bouncing/curating. Let me know if this could be interesting and I will get right on it :-)
